What is the May Court Club?

May Court Works to Change Lives for the Better

The May Court Club is the oldest service club in Canada. It was founded in Ottawa in 1898 by Lady Aberdeen, wife of Canada's Governor General. Since then May Court Clubs have been established in 9 Ontario cities. The Barrie branch was established in 1970 and joined the Association of May Court Clubs of Canada that same year. The Barrie Club presently has over 125 members.
May Court has raised over $2,000,000 for Barrie area and donates over 15,000 volunteer hours a year benefitting women, children and the elderly in our community.
As a May Court member you will make new new friends, contribute your unique talents and at the same time make a difference in your community.

MISSION STATEMENT
The May Court Club of Barrie, established in 1970, is a volunteer organization of diverse dedicated women committed to helping those in need in our community.
VISION STATEMENT
We will continually review our charitable and fundraising programs to reflect the goals and values of our club. Through teamwork and women power we will increase our profile and through partnering, where appropriate, provide funding and service hours to assist our community.

May Court Shop offers great deals on women's clothing, shoes and accessories.

The May Court Shop features great deals on in- season women's fashions, shoes, jewellery and accessories .
We have moved to a new location in downtown Barrie and offer residents the opportunity to sell and buy fashionable items in good condition. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00am to 4:30pm, consignments accepted until 4:00pm.
For ideas about the types of clothes that are in demand please look at the collections found in our products area. Clean out your closet to help yourself and others!
